AI for small businesses, done by someone who runs businesses on it

I am not an AI company. I am the person a handful of business owners across the North East hand their operations, marketing, finance and admin to, and AI is how I get it all done. That is the difference between me and a consultant with a slide deck: everything I recommend, I already run, every day, for real clients.

What most owners actually want from AI

Not a strategy. Their evenings back. The quote that goes out while the customer is still thinking about it. The monthly numbers that arrive without anyone building a spreadsheet. The customer list that finally exists somewhere other than a phone and a memory. The follow up that happens on its own. That is the AI I do.

Three ways to work with me on AI

The Business Systems and AI Audit, £1,200 fixed

If you are not sure where to start, start here. I spend time inside your business looking at how it actually runs: operations, CRM, sales, marketing, lead handling and admin. You get a prioritised roadmap in plain English showing where AI and better systems would genuinely save you time or win you work, in the order it is worth doing, with a price against each step. You could act on it without me. Go ahead with a build of £3,000 or more within 60 days and half the audit fee comes off the build.

One Week Builds, £950 fixed

You know that one job that eats your evenings? I build you a small tool that does it, bolted onto the website you already have. Live within a week of a free 30 minute scoping call, £950 fixed, then a £45 a month care plan from day 31 so it keeps working. Examples: voice note to quote, instant estimate calculator, book a slot, quote chaser, photo to report, review request, a customer database built from ten years of invoices. Every tool also builds a record of your customers and jobs, and that record is what makes your business worth something in year two.

A back office that runs on AI, from £850 a month

Hand me a whole function, marketing, operations, finance, business development or admin, and I keep it running to a standard. Under the surface it runs on systems I have built with AI: KPI reports pulled from real data every month, weekly search audits, prospecting packs that go out in your own name, content drafted in your voice, trackers that stay current. You get a monthly report instead of a timesheet, and nothing goes out in your name until you have approved it.

What I already run on AI for clients

Monthly KPI reports built from Google Analytics, Search Console and LinkedIn for three clients. Weekly SEO and AI search audits across four sites, including this one. Twice weekly LinkedIn prospecting packs for a workplace mental health consultancy. Weekly blogs and social content drafted from a business psychologist’s voice notes. A master property and compliance database for a serviced accommodation operator with twenty properties. Full Xero bookkeeping, VAT and payroll for a hospitality technology group. A client portal so my own team and clients can see where everything is up to without asking me.

What I will not do

Sell you a tool you do not need. Put anything out in your name that you have not seen. Promise that AI will replace your team. Talk in jargon. Build something big when something small would do.

Based in Durham, working across the North East

NE Support is run by Louise Edwards, an AI and business support specialist based in Durham. Durham, Newcastle, Gateshead, Sunderland, Darlington, Bishop Auckland, Spennymoor, Consett, Chester le Street, Stockton and Middlesbrough are all within an hour, and I would rather scope a build over a coffee than a video call. Clients further afield work with me remotely and it changes nothing about what they get.

Questions people ask

Do I need to understand AI to work with you? No. You need to know which jobs are eating your time. I work out whether AI is the answer and build it if it is.

Is this the same as hiring a virtual assistant? A VA does the task. I build the system that does the task, then keep it running. Where a person is still needed, I have a small team.

What does an AI audit for a small business cost? The Business Systems and AI Audit costs £1,200 fixed, with a prioritised roadmap you could act on without me. Half of it comes off any build over £3,000 within 60 days.

What is a One Week Build? One small tool built to solve one named job, bolted onto the website you already have. £950 fixed, live within a week of a free scoping call, then a £45 a month care plan from day 31.

Will my data be safe? Client data stays in the tools you already use, access is individual rather than shared, and I hold professional indemnity insurance. A list of the tools I use to process client data is available on request.

Do you only work with businesses in the North East? No. I am based in Durham and most clients are local, but several are elsewhere in the UK and abroad, and the work is the same.
